      Scanning Electron Microscope with EDS unit, Computerised Accelerated Surface Area and Porosimetry System, Computerised Temperature Programmed Reaction/Reduction System, Single Point BET Measurement System, Quadripole Mass Spectrometer, X-Ray Diffractometer, Supercritical Fluid Chromatograph, GC/MS, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Infrared Spectrophotometer, Pilot Plant Units for production and test of fuel cell electrodes, High Pressure Fluidised Bed Gasifier, 50 kW Fuel, Microactivity Test Unit (MAT Unit) for laboratory evaluation of FCC catalysts connected to  a HP SIMDIS  equipped with a Sulphur chemiluminescence detector, ceramic membrane reactor for gas separation. High pressure (100 bars) fixed bed reactors.

      The activity focuses on the preparation, characterization and surface modification of porous materials and colloidal inorganic particles.
      Special emphasis is on the synthesis thin films, membranes and colloidal zeolites. The materials are evaluated in catalysis, separation and sensor applications.
