• The Swedish Catalysis Society was established in 1989.

  • The members are both individuals with an interest in catalytic research and companies active in the area.

  • The society has about 60 members in 2008.

  • Membership in the Swedish Catalysis Society is gained by paying the membership fee, for private persons 100 SEK and for companies 2500 SEK. Companies will get a link to their web site. Payment is made through postgiro 498 73 67-2.

  • The main task is to arrange yearly catalyst symposia in Sweden.

  • Two grants of 5 000 skr are given to students each year.

  • The Society publishes Katalysnytt with about three issues a year.

  • The society is represented in the Nordic Catalysis Society, and in the European Catalysis Society.
